Insurance  

Working with insurance companies creates an incredible amount of administrative responsibility and time that we feel could be better spent on direct client care. For this reason, I currently partner with Headway who processes my insurance claims (United Healthcare, Aetna, and Cigna). 

Cash or Credit

I accept all major credit cards via my HIPAA-compliant platform, 'Simple Practice', which makes billing credit cards and debit cards easy. Current rates are 175.00 per intake and 150.00 per routine thereafter.

Medicare Accepted 

LCA Counseling is a Medicare and Medicare Advantage provider; if you have supplemental insurance, you should be covered 100% for psychotherapy sessions. 

Out of Network

Most insurance companies will honor out of network reimbursement for their members; usually from 70-100%; check with your provider to clarify benefits before your session. I will present you with a superbill to present to your insurance company for reimbursement to you; payment will be the client's responsibility each session. I also partner with Thrizer, a company who assists clients and therapists with out of network reimbursement easily. Good Faith Estimates

If you are using “Out of Network” benefits for our sessions or paying privately, you will be provided with a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your care will cost. The federal “No Surprises Act” mandates that health care providers need to give patients who are not using insurance or don’t have insurance an estimate of their bill for medical services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services, and you will be provided with a Good Faith Estimate in writing before your first appointment via email. If you receive a bill that is $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
